About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time Accounts Officer to assist the Finance Team. The duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Officer will include, but won’t be limited to:

Accounts Payable:

  • Processing internal payment requests through MYOB AccountRight
  • Managing & creating suppliers in MYOBChecking purchase orders and invoices are approved within the delegation matrix
  • Point of contact for all AP enquiries, including investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Processing external supplier invoices through complimentary accounting software

Accounts Receivable:

  • Processing invoice requests
  • Allocating receipts from bank feeds
  • Issue statements and follow-up unpaid invoices.

General Finance:

  • Monitoring the accounts inbox and responding to emails
  • Managing bank reconciliations
  • Liaising with external & internal stakeholders
  • Managing company vehicles

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable, working in a small team environment
  • Experience using MYOB AccountRight (Highly desired)
  • Proven experience in projects and process improvement initiatives will be highly regarded
  • Experience using complimentary accounting software
